Description
Papago baskets are made entirely by hand from the Yucca plant (wild banana plant). Devil Claw is used for the black accents. Sometimes there is a little red used which comes form the root of the Yucca plant. This is a very meticulous form of basket weaving and is one of the oldest Native American crafts.
