Public Presentation: Life at Cahokia

Iseminger Auditorium, Cahokia Mounds Interpretive Center

Join us for a public presentation by Dr. Angela Cooper at 10:45 who will provide information regarding recent updates to the Interpretive Center exhibits and artifacts. She will define our obligations to comply with new Federal Laws and obligations to our Tribal Partners.

At 11:00, immediately following Dr. Cooper’s presentation, our Certified Education Representative, Wilson Newman, will give a 45-minute presentation on what we know about life at the site during its peak at around AD 1100. This will be held in the Auditorium. Seating will be limited and on a first come first served basis.

This program is part of We Want More History! campaign; a coordinated, national celebration of history programming designed to strengthen civic health, build community trust, foster dialogue, and showcase the essential role of history in public life.
