Rico Rose, an Indigenous community member of St. Louis, is a horticulturalist specializing in native plants and sustainable landscaping. They will provide a presentation on the history of American lawns and the potential for revitalizing landscapes and fostering ecological resilience in modern contexts through an Indigenous lens. Make and take a wildflower seed bomb for your home. This activity uses native Illinois wildflowers to support pollinators. One take-away project per person. Taking place in the Education Room in the Interpretive Center.
