The Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site and Cahokia Mounds Museum Society will be hosting the 21stst ANNUAL HOLIDAY MARKET, NOVEMBER 29th and 30th, 2024, this event will be held inside the VFW CENTER located at 1234 Vandalia, Collinsville, IL.The electric sign by the highway will be functioning and lit for the show.

The purpose of the event is to present Native American traditions, arts and culture. The show is open to Native American artists working in painting, sculpture, masks, ceramics, weaving, jewelry, fetishes, kachina dolls, dance, etc. Fine (authentic) arts and crafts are emphasized for this show. The Cahokia Mounds Museum Society (CMMS) complies with the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990, therefore, a copy of your State or Federally recognized tribal card must be sent with your payment.

The general public will not be permitted to enter until the artists are completed setting up.

SET UP time is 8:00am to 11:00 am on Friday.

TEAR DOWN will begin at 6:00 pm on Saturday.

* Sunday is for traveling home safely.

 Artist Responsibilities:

  • Each participant is responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements and costs.
  • Artist must return this contract, the contact sheet, your payment, pictures of your artwork, and the tribal card copy to be accepted into the show.
  • Artist is responsible for your booth during breaks and lunches.
  • Artist is responsible to notify us if a power outlet is needed.

Exhibit Space:

  • The event will take place inside the VFW Center at 1234 Vandalia, Collinsville, IL
  • You may bring an additional table if arrangements have been made prior to the show.
  • Booth space is 1- 8’ Table, exceptions cannot be made due to limited space.
  • Booth Preference is given in order of reservation with the booth deposit and tribal card.  First come – first choice of booth space.  Frames ARE permitted without canopy on top.
  • SINGLE booth fee is $250.00 / DOUBLE is $400.00
  • Non-refundable fee is $150.00 / second payment is $100.00

Additional Information:

  • The merchandise in each booth should be 50% made by the artist represented in their booth.  The remaining 50% should be made by family and close friends that ARE Native American and card carrying
