Trivia Night & Silent Auction!

A Fundraising Event Supporting Cahokia Mounds Museum Society (CMMS) & the Powell Archaeological Research Center (PARC)

Put on your thinking caps and help support two local non-profits at our Annual Trivia Night & Silent Auction on April 6, 2024, from 7 pm to 10 pm – doors open at 6 pm. It will be held in the Interpretive Center Lobby. This event supports the Cahokia Mounds Museum Society (CMMS) and the Powell Archaeological Research Center (PARC). CMMS’ mission is to preserve and interpret Cahokia Mounds with public outreach and education programs. PARC is a group dedicated to saving archaeological sites and data, particularly in the St. Louis Metro area. The fee is $150 for a table that seats 10, or single tickets can be purchased for $20. This is a single ticket. Single ticket holders will be sat at tables with other single ticket holders.

Other Activities Throughout the Evening:

  • Silent Auction:

    Auction bidding will close once the last round of trivia begins.

  • 50/50 Raffle:

    6 Tickets for $5  |  Arm’s Length for $20

  • Used Book Sale:

    A large selection of gently used books of various genres will be available for purchase.

Mulligans

These are “Free Spaces” to be used 1 – per each round. They are (1) for $5, if you buy (all 8) they are $35. These will be distributed the night of the event upon check-in. They can be purchased at the door starting at 6 pm.

If you are not able to attend this fundraising event, please consider making a contribution today. All proceeds raised from this event will be split 50/50 between the Cahokia Mounds Museum Society and the Powell Archaeological Research Center.

  • BYOB and snacks – alcohol is allowed (no red wine)
  • There will be 8 rounds of general trivia topics (one round will be Cahokia trivia)
  • When bidding on silent auction items you MUST include your name, phone number, and table number.
  • Mulligans are available, (1) for $5 or (all 8) for $35 – these are stickers to be used as a “Free Space” 1 per each round.
  • Each group or single ticket holder will be assigned a numbered table
