From February 1, 2024, to 2 PM, May 31, 2024, the Cahokia Mounds Museum Society (CMMS) is hosting a Photo Calendar Contest. This is a new fundraising event for CMMS whose mission is to ensure the continuation of preservation and interpretation at Cahokia Mounds.

Learn about purple martins at 9 a.m. Saturday June 8! Meet at the rack of purple martin nesting gourds located on the parking lot near the visitor center. This event is FREE and open to the public! NO RSVP is needed. The Gift Shop will be open from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM that day!
