This is a classic design. When Paul-René did his apprenticeship many of the cuffs and pendants made used dogwood and rose flowers as the theme. Floral designs are important to all the Indigenous peoples of the woodlands. This piece was done with careful chasing first the hammered from the back and then chased again and matted from the front. It is 18 gauge sterling silver and wears comfortably on the wrist. This one is 1.5 X 7 inches long plus a gap that can be slightly adjusted through careful pressure forming. Healing plant double curves surround the edges and the Sunrise Drum signature at the ends.
