Flintknapping Workshop

Flintknapping Workshop by Larry Kinsella. 12-4 pm. All safety equipment, flint, tools and instructions will be provided.  Students may bring their own tools, if they wish.  Minimum class is 5 and maximum is 25.  All participants are asked to wear long pants to prevent leg injury.  Fee: $30.00. $5 off for students (with valid id) and CMMS members.  Participants must be 15 years old or older.

Kids Day

Kids Day is a family hands-on event.  Activities include flintknapping, making pinch pots, corn-grinding, throwing spears with atlatl, identifying animal pelts and tracks, face painting, storytelling, cordage making, and T-shirt making.   Tap Snap will have a free souvenir photo booth available in the lobby.   This is a free event.  Parking will be across the street in the Warehouse parking lot with shuttle service to the Museum.
